In 2008 we took delivery of our first boat, a beautiful new Oyster 46, and set off to cruise around the world, taking our time. Leaving behind professional careers and a comfortable London lifestyle we proverbially sailed off into the sunset. What happened next was a rude awakening as we discovered the massive disparity between the dream and the realities of life aboard. In fact, in the first year, the boat owned us!
After seven unforgettable years cruising in the South Pacific, we have started the journey home. We hope you enjoy browsing photos and seamails from our story so far.
We still pinch ourselves knowing how lucky we are.
